Astrid Vasile – Founder, CEO & Principal Builder (BC‑BP13046)

Astrid Vasile is an award‑winning Registered Builder with more than 27 years of experience in Western Australia. She leads VasileBuild with a focus on precision, integrity, and client‑centred delivery. Her leadership continues the legacy she built alongside the late Gino Vasile.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma in Building and Construction. She is also a licensed Building Inspector and a certified trainer and assessor.

Her work has been recognised through several honours, including:

  • Women in Building Australia (MBA) Onsite Award
  • HIA Business Partner of the Year (WA)
  • CSR‑HIA Business Partner of the Year National Finalist

Astrid works across English and Indonesian and brings a modern, practical approach to leadership, combining construction knowledge with business, training, and productivity skills.

Jac Bonomi – Architect

Jac is an architect with experience in both Australia and Europe. He holds a Degree in Architectural Science from Milan and a Master of Architecture from the University of Western Australia.

His work focuses on:

  • Functional, timeless design
  • Client‑centred solutions
  • Spaces that support everyday life and long‑term value

Wieke Gur – WHS & Communication Advisor

Wieke brings exceptional communication, leadership, and WHS expertise to VasileBuild. Her background as a TAFE lecturer in business and entrepreneurship strengthens our commitment to safe, compliant, and well‑managed construction environments across Western Australia.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
  • Diploma of Project Management
  • Diploma of AI
  • Bachelor of Management/Marketing Communication

Specialty: Developing strong safety culture through intercultural leadership, communication, engagement, and practical on‑site training.

Experience Wieke brings extensive experience across diverse work environments, focusing on practical safety systems, team engagement, and clear communication. Her approach ensures WHS practices are understood, applied, and maintained across all project sites.

Kamala Silva – Architectural Designer

Kamala is a qualified architectural designer with a Bachelor of Architecture from Brazil, recognised by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA).

She has experience in:

  • High‑end residential projects
  • Commercial and institutional buildings
  • Recreational and community spaces

Skills:

  • 3D modelling and visualisation
  • Architectural drafting
  • Design development and documentation

Software: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office

Kamala’s designs balance function and aesthetics. She focuses on buildable, practical solutions that support VasileBuild’s construction process.
