The Labuan Bajo Culture and Tourist Centre (CTC) is a place where tourists can learn about tourist destinations around Labuan Bajo in an appealing way, as well as enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding archipelago. Information about each destination is presented at CTC, both physically and virtually, to help visitors to decide on their destinations. Located on the highest altitude of the Labuan Bajo archipelago, the Cultural and Tourism Centre has become a hill trail destination, as well as a rest and transit area for tourists on the way to their destinations. The architecture is designed as scattered buildings standing among greeneries, resembling the archipelago composition of Labuan Bajo itself. The center also has semi-outdoor museums, where visitors can obtain information as well as experience the local flora and fauna. Each gallery is designed as a booth with a large opening that incorporates the surrounding landscape as the background of the museum. With this design, the CTC is hoping to become a new icon for tourism in Labuan Bajo.
